The dow is up 50% since Obama took over, I've made more money on the market in the last six months than in the previous 8 years. We're almost out of Iraq, working on Afghanistan, oil is down to where it shoud be, and Obama is funding new alternative energy solutions. Health care is about to get fixed, and the criminals that tortured in our name will be punished soon. Thank God a dem is back in the White House.

That's terrible flamebait.

Hey CJdriver,

Good for you. You should hold on to that cash while you have it. Have you considered what Obama's $trillion deficit-spending will do to your taxes, the US dollar and inflation in the future? Nobody will escape higher taxes and you will have less money to spend in the future. Better start playing Powerball...

If you voted for Obama, thank you for contributing to the downfall of capitalism and the dawn of SOCIALISM in America. People will need to work much harder just to keep the same quality of life. That should make you feel great.

Big questions: why won't Obama post the "latest" healthcare bill (passed by the Democratic House) on the Internet for all to see right now? What happened to Obama's promise to be more "transparent"? Why can't voters actually analyze the bill and make up their own minds? Can't they post it during this month's congressional recess? What are the Democrats trying to hide????

I guess I'm hoping for a Clinton redux, those were good years for me financially, and for the country too for that matter. A democratic president and a republican legislature managed to reign in spending and produce a budget surplus for the first time in forever. While at the same time governing over the biggest bull market in forever. It can be done.
In regards to Obama posting a bill proposed by the legislative branch, that would not be proper protocol, it's not his to post. Also, he's smart enough to distance himself from it so that once it get's passed, he can claim victory for getting it done, while still bashing it's shortcomings. Very smart guy this president.

I don't care who posts the bill - just post it. Not posting it (as more changes are being made) just creates more anxiety among the people who will be most impacted - the elderly and the small business owners who may not be able to afford coverage for employees (hence leading to layoffs). I just want people to be aware that no significant information or detail is being shared with the masses... That's a problem.

Re: "Union lovers/supporters".

Let's be very clear on this--The Obama Administration doesn't give a $h!t about union members. The UAW rank and file got NOTHING out of this deal that they couldn't have gotten from a straight Ch.11. The UAW management got bailed out of the medical/retirement issue by receiving equity in the "new GM" that they can turn and fund the medical (which will eventually be dumped on the Gov't. health plan anyway) and retirement.

The SEIU is the only other union to benefit from the administration and their members don't directly benefit, just the management as the ranks stand to swell with all the hospitals sure to go union for their unskilled help (and possibly non-MD staff) once the Gov't. takes over. That is in return for providing additional ground troops to ACORN for the looming battles.

The rest of the union members out here are still up $h!t creek as before.
