A couple of issues that haven't been brought up. First of all, this crew didn't put themselves in the position of going over 14....NetJets did. Our schedulers probably put together a plan that had that crew doing a 13+45 day and then wondered what went wrong when the crew was going to go over 14 and couldn't do the trip.

The second thing that probably happened is that the crew was sent to the hotel by the company. Once the company figured out they weren't going to do the trip, they were told to get into rest. I've been at the end of a really long day and gotten an AFIS message to head directly to the hotel as soon as we land so that we can be ready at legal for another trip. I've never "left" the plane or FBO until directed to do so by mother Columbus.

All in all, no matter how it happened, a situation that I'm sure highlighted to the owners the fact that they are "owners" with a very small "o". Hopefully, completing their trip with NJI kept them happy even after getting ditched. Who knows, maybe they liked the ride so much they'll not renew their NJA contract and opt for a Gulfstream share next time around.

Mr. Yaaak,
There is no such thing as an NJA contract and a Gulfstream contract. Only "NetJets" contracts. NJA and NJI are "operators" of said contract. Flights are interchangeable with either operator.
The only difference in NJA and NJI is separate pilot groups.

NetJets = NetJets, Inc.

Another misnomer is that NJI is the only one who does "international" flights. Not so.

I'm wondering about something though Yak-boy. You say that you have the ideal job and everything is rosy in your world. With your perfect existence, why do you bother with what is going on at NetJets?

I don't really bother with what goes on a NetJets. But I do like messing with you, Griz, when it becomes apparent you're starting to believe your own propoganda and ignore your own history. That's when I rather enjoy throwing a stink bomb of truth into the middle of your rah rah-ing, union-boy, circle jerks when you whip yourselves into a frenzy on a public message board and begin lashing out. Do you really think when the blather reaches a fevered pitch, nobody will run up the bullsh1t flag?

On one thread, it was a couple of your ex-airline types denegrating the "GA weenies" in your ranks, citing them for your current woes. On this thread, it was the union-thuggish words of yourself Griz, that flipped my switch. With attitudes like those on public display here, I can't even begin to imagine the assholery and over-inflated egos that must abound there behind closed cockpit doors. Well, for people who go the extra mile to suck the fun out of flying by going into hyper self-important mode, I think it's fun to kill a little time seeing if I can pop a vein in their forheads.

Besides, I'm bored with internet porn.

Internet Porn... oh, well now that explains a lot.

It just doesn't hold the facination for me it once used to. I've grown.
