More crews for LAX. Total 30. Bid comes out on Thursday. Aircraft possibly from the desert.

8 - 700s will stay in SLC and be flown by ATL crews.

No CP in LAX.

Have fun!

So by that news I take it ASA is keeping those SLC 700 and they will not be going to Skywest?

Edit:

I don't really understand this. So ASA will keep flying in slc?

Well I see the final awards for LAX are posted, but it only looks like 18 or 19 crews. Hope you are right about the 8 700's staying in SLC.

I know Skywest had been planning on hiring and was supposed to be interviewing like mad. But....... I hear that many interviews were canned. (Buddy of mine has been trying to make one but there have cancelations) True? If so why? Is Skywest really getting ASA planes or was it a bluff for the contract? Like it or not, ASA costs are lower than Skywest. ASSA is going nowhere, stagnation, possibly but you just never know in this business.

That final was for the original report. If this new additional award comes out, there will be another Prelim...

Hey, why don't you go and talk to Fortaw and ask him what his screen name is. It's not Texx.

:rolleyes:This company has NO IDEA what they are doing! I can't believe that this place is STILL in business!
