Word on the street has it that an MDA employee sabotaged a RPA 170 in DCA.... stole the oil cap and put glycol in the oil tank..... enjoy your time in Federal "pound you in the ass" prison Fresh-Fish!!!

P.S.- They have it on security video tape...... what a bunch of....

Doesn't MDA also fly the 170? Do MDA and RPA have an ongoing fued? If so, why? They're on the same team (RAH), right?

MDA is US AIRWAYS. Republic is outsourced flying with the soon to be all US AIRWAYS 170's. So they are not the same company.
and to the first post... BS
While there is no love lost for republic as the jobs and employees are outsourced, nobody would replace oil with glycol. So go back to your new plane and stop trolling

You have 1602 posts, and you write something that stupid...Are you writing flamebait?

As far as MDA guys are concerned, do not kick someone while they are down and do not believe everything you hear. Losing your job because a bunch of new guys will do it cheaper is hard enough. Having to deal with stupid and ignorant posts is ridiculous. Include some evidence if you make an accusation and know the facts before trampling over someone's misfortunes

Just in the interest of accuracy, isn't the RAH CA payrate for the E170 higher than MDA's?

Airline Pilot Central says it is, along with more guaranteed days off per month and a higher guarantee at RAH.

Okay, I just spoke with my source, a senior CHQ/RP dude, who talked to a mechanic who saw the video. An MDA mechanic did in fact steal the oil cap but that's it -- nothing was poured in or anything else.

We now return to the programming already in progress.

I would have left a couple of big stanely steamers on both the pilot seats up front, not taken an oil cap. Maybe even hide one in the oxygen masks.

Come on kids lets be a little more inventive.
