The real reason they don't have RJs is that you can't make money with them unless you're a small jet "supplier" and have a sweetheart deal with a major airline to pay you for all the seats on the airplane whether or not they are filled, thus guaranteeing you a profit. As a SJP, you don't have the expenses of reservations, etc. Witness Independence and that debacle.

Actually the joke doesn't make any sence at all. If you have a large piece of equipment or a small piece of equipment it doesn't make a diff if you can/could pull out intime for the "hail marry pass" - its all about form and technique in pulling out on time.
