why don't you stop worrying so much about what other pilots think? go get yourself laid. it will make you feel better about yourself so you will not have to bash other airlines on-line to make yourself feel better.

Nevermind BTA, who the hell are those other airlines and why do people on here always use codenames for them? I've never seen them saying, "I work for XJ" or I work for "BTA." I always wondered about that when reading on here. So who is OO and YV? I guess that's Colgan and TSA? But all the TSA tailnumbers end in HK right? Like the Mesaba tails end in XJ?

Colgan is CJC. I was there for 6 years and had a good time. Every airline has it warts but this one had the fewest of any I have ever worked for.

Your airline experience is what you make of it. I know guys who would do nothing but bitch bitch bitch in the cockpit. Those individuals went on to majors, cargo and nationals. I talk to them today and what are they doing? Bitch bitch bitch.

Though there are some that SHOULD be avoided like the plague.

If you find yourself getting upset on flightinfo.com, just remember that porn is just a click away.

TSA's two-letter code is AX. No idea why. Just take the fraction of a second it takes to type one more letter and keep calling it TSA.

And almost no one from TSA defends it. As for the others, probably has something to do with "it may be a bad airline, but it's my bad airline dang it." mentality. Best advice: don't worry about it.

The world according to whydoitry.

What is ExpressJet's "two letter code?" I work there and don't even know. BTA is the only code that I know of that we have.

Well, the CASS thing is "XE" so if that means anything. BTW, who the hell comes up w/ these two letter codes?

Comair=CMR=OH I have never "defended" OH, but I did enjoy flying with about 99% of the folks there. How do defend the worst management team in aviation history? Okay, Lorenzo was worse, but for stupidity, OH had no rival.

The IATA, or International Airline Transport Association. The two-character airline designators, sometimes called IATA Reservation Codes, are for use in reservations, timetables, tickets, tariffs, air waybills and in airline interline telecommunications, as well as for the airline industry applications.

The three-letter codes are ICAO airline designators, assigned by the International Civil Aviation Organization to aircraft operating agencies, aeronautical authorities and services. The codes are unique by airline which is not true for the IATA airline designator codes.

Thanks, wikipedia.

Oh, there is a rival....it's called Pinnacle Airlines management in Memphis!! Comair can't be anywhere close to as retarded as Pinnacle's "Simply the Best" management "team"!!!!!!
