TSA's two-letter code is AX. No idea why. Just take the fraction of a second it takes to type one more letter and keep calling it TSA.

And almost no one from TSA defends it. As for the others, probably has something to do with "it may be a bad airline, but it's my bad airline dang it." mentality. Best advice: don't worry about it.

What is ExpressJet's "two letter code?" I work there and don't even know. BTA is the only code that I know of that we have.

Well, the CASS thing is "XE" so if that means anything. BTW, who the hell comes up w/ these two letter codes?

No clue, but it just gives us pilots another thing to bitch about!!!:beer:
 
Comair=CMR=OH I have never "defended" OH, but I did enjoy flying with about 99% of the folks there. How do defend the worst management team in aviation history? Okay, Lorenzo was worse, but for stupidity, OH had no rival.
