why are the regional pilots like this?

I like the hard a## stare down everyone throws each other on the way through the terminal. Its all good natured though, everyone is just trying to figure out who the best is. :erm:

" I was wondering If you needed any help"

"with what?"

"figuring out who's the best"

"no...I think I got that one figured out"

"the plaque for second place is in the ladies room"
