That would be interesting, but I think DL would have to get rid of some debt and pensions first(or at least get some pension relief from Congress).......

I think an east-west merger with similar equipment makes the most sense. I'd like to think Frontier-Flyi will happen but with Flyi's debt and financial condition it would make more sense for a buyer to simply wait for Ch7.

If AWA-USair falls through I predict NWA-AWA.

JetBlue works far too hard to hire people that fit their corporate culture to allow a merger. I just don't see it happening.
