Can anyone out there give me some insight on which regional carrier is hiring and what their minimums may be? Also, are they hiring for a class date or for a pilot pool? Thank You.

Trans States has been hiring for the last couple of months and i hear it will continue for awhile. mins are 1500tt 500me.
People with more than 3000tt and turbine exp have have been getting hired as CQFO's on the J41, much to the dismay of the pilots. (FO's especially)

Do they finance the PFT??? I have no idea. If you have good credit you can pretty much get a loan for anything though, no matter what the purpose is for the $, can't you? If not you need collateral.... DO you think our new hires are all just dropping down the cash?? I really don't know. I know we have people flying our planes with as low as 500 TT....so i think even though it is funny.....i did list the correct minimums. Commercial/ multi......and funds. I don't think their is any TT requirement.

That's a lot of money. I was just looking at my student loan bill. $97,800 at 2.3% is $976 a month for 30 years..

Back when ACA was PFT your new hire packet came with several numbers of banks and other institutions that would lend you the money. That was back in 98 and before.
