Down in my neck of the woods, I find female controllers use different terminology than their male counterparts. For example: A male controller will always say " turn left 270, vectors for the ILS ...." while a female will say " turn left 270, vectors for the sequence ...".

I like being scolded by female controllers.
Skip a couple readbacks and they inevitably get stern with you.
Nice and stern.

OMG, that is funny! Twisted, but funny!

Ahhhhh Yes....TOL approach. Flying a 727 in there, 5th day of the week, a little too much time on the river boats in MSY during the day....dragging *ss, switched over, and wow...somehow everyone became wide awake and alert...dunno..... definately helped....Remember hearing her 10 yrs ago up there. She got guys to do crap that would otherwise have them b*tchin and complaining if a male controller would ask them to do it....tooo funny

That's so true.....

Gentlemen, let's remember that when encountering unexpected lady ATC, we must first and foremost remain calm and remember to fly the airplane........

Yes, there was and she went a bit overboard with the "voice" at times too. I was friends with several EMT controllers who knew of her and they told me she was 5x5...

You know, 5' tall and 5' wide...

Peace

Believe none of what you hear and only half of what you see.

The Culligan lady with the sexy voice cured me. Met her for lunch but didn't follow her back to her double wide trailer. Bought the filtration system though.

It's a bummer that "Roger Lady" in TOL retired. I remember her all the way back to my training in 1993. Anybody ever ask her for a field condition report in the winter?? "The runway is bare and wet" mmmmm...wet....
