I see this was posted one minute earlier on the MAJORS section. Post this in the only place it belongs, NON-AVIATION related. Sure it mentions an increase in ticket fare, but you posted it not as an aviation post but as a political dig. Get over it. I more than make up that extra 2.50 in the taxes that aren't being taken out of my pocket.

Illini:
Available now: "Center, Falcon XXX FL380."

I got to say exaclty that the other night for the first time (minus the xxx.) I still can't get used to it.

Yeah, it's been a little weird getting used to it.
Funny story, this happened last night going to BWI to pick up our new football coach to bring him back from a recruiting trip.
We filed 350 as a final (good winds) but they stopped us at 330 for traffic (this was still on the west side of Indy. They then told us that 330 is our final due to traffic. We weren't upset, by any means, but we did think it was funny that with all of these new altitudes, we were stuck down low. Heck, we even offered 370 or 390 but they said notta chance.
Oh well. We still were cruising with a 604 kt groundspeed at .86 the whole way! It was great!

Hey F/O

Since you have all the answers, I am curious as to how else you think we are supposed to pay for all this additional security.

I know the airlines have got lots of extra cash laying around,,,, lets let them do it! (NOT)

I will be happy to pay my extra $2.50 every time I fly, or even double that as long as we are working against never seeing another hijacked airliner used as a weapon.............. So put that in YOUR pipe and smoke it.

And yeah, I voted for him too!

The little thing Kerry did not tell you, is that alleged tax cut for the rich most likely saved your job!!! It is very likely that the 50% depreciation on new airplanes was the only thing that kept the factory doors at Raytheon / Lear / and Cessna open.

Never forget how many Jobs the "Rich" create.

Oh yeah, I am far from rich, and I got a tax break too,, bet you did as well.
