That is SWA/FO; the syntax, grammar, and overall attitude of these writeups match his flightinfo posts. It's too bad he doesn't realize how much damage his childish posts do to his own company, and I know the SWA brothers on this forum cringe every time he opens his mouth.
 
I don't think it is him. Those trip reports a far to long. His posts are usually quick meaningless flame bait.

Why would a pilot post trip reports on A.net? I mean, a blow by blow (bad pun?) account of your day... the same day we do over and over again; who cares?? Then again, the A.net weenies get all excited and wet when they read that crap.

It sounds like a huge ego thing, posting pics and ramblings that just scream "Look at me, ain't I cool! Aren't ya jealous??" It's kinda similar to that QueenofSky Delta f/a skank and her blog ramblings... perhaps these two should get together and compare egos? Maybe they could go see Brokeback Mountain together.

Seems to me that you spend time on that board too.

It is sad that I spend the all the time on this board that I do. I don't feel too bad now cause apparently there are far more dorkier places.

We talked about him the other day. While I say I don't think we should "flame" (pun intended) him for his private activities. (Yeah, I'm a Liberal) I think we should question his character.

I think his writing is very informative for those who have intreset in aviation. But, why would he write for free, when he could get $500 a pop at Airliners Magazine or Airways mag.?

And yes, I look at Airliners.net, they have a great photo section, and (sometimes) they have info before we have it here.

Leave the guy alone. Who really cares what he's posting on A.net? Apparently, the a.netters love his posts. Live and let live... you need to get a life if you have nothing better to do that to criticize someone for writing about something he loves to do.

Probably because those publications wouldn't print his slams against other airlines. I think you are giving this guy to much credit. In any of Len Morgans writings did he ever make snide comments about other carriers? Thats right, he didn't.

I read a few of his posts in discussions on that other forum. In more than one he wished that my "pathetic" airline would just go away and quit bothering his beloved airline. It makes it kind of hard to like him.

I can't believe all the laymen over on that other forum that just love to follow his trips and fawn all over him. It makes me want to puke.

Pretty dumb to be taking pictures during a critical phase of ground or flight operations and then posting them on the internet along with your name and the guy your're working with. Looks like SWA hired a mental midget. I'm glad, as he is, that SWA called him first also.
 
a.net is a well known place for those with an "alternate" lifestyle to pick up dates...kind of like MySpace.com for grown up manlovers

Hey, wait a minute... I smell a rat. A CAL pilot who knows writing and the pay rate from Airliners and Airways mags... Sky Masterson, is that you!?!? hehehe.

Now I'll admit to being a bit of an airline geek myself, I thumb thru those magazines, read the articles by S. Masterson, Rick Drury, Mac af Uhr(Alaska guy), and good old (r.i.p) Len Morgan... but this dork doesn't even come close.

I also like the pics on Airliners.net, lotsa good photography... but the forums? Buncha weirdos, IMHO.
 
This guy could run the risk of getting FIRED for the things that he says/does, especially since it is a reflection of SWA (wearing the uniform, taking photos when on duty/ below 10,000, etc....).
If I were him I'd be worried about a SWA chief or mngt type seeing this!!!
 
In his photos during critical flight he says that a jumpseater took them. Now why do people post links to people? Who cares if they have a site or make trip reports. People just post this to feel big and make fun of somebody. It pretty pathatic. You don't have to look at these sites so just move on.
 
No I'm not "Sky", I've wondered who he is too.

I once tried to write something on the -400 for Airways. But after having my 13 year old read it, I decided against.

Flat out wrong about that phycho. You'll notice the one he deleted, the one of Annapolis? It was way low, going in or out of BWI. He deleted knowing he violated sterile cockpit by taking the photo.

A 777 Captain at UAL is in deep doo-doo over the same issue. Will probably lose her job.

I especially liked the one response he got...............

I haven't read all of his post. On one of them he said it was the jumpseater. Whats funny now is he doesn't make fun of UAL. He wishes them the best. And his attitude is different I guess he has been reading these posts.
