Northwest does have a bunch of hot flight attendants- just not domestic. They have a bunch of flight attendant bases around Asia and those girls are nice. Unfortunately there are still one or two American oldies on all those flights also. I have flown Royal Thai, PAL, and China Airlines and they were all full of hot young stuff. I'll have to visit Iceland soon to check out their "talent" level. For US mainlines I would say Delta has the best. Most of the regionals have some young hotties, but they are also prime job oportunities for the furloughed oldies that used to be mainline.

The thread we need to start is about how to get a better pipeline of young "talent" into the regionals. I flew with the company lawyer and tried to give him some hiring tips, but he just wouldn't listen- too many lawsuits. There has to be some legal loopholes for hiring at least mostly high "talent" levels. Anybody have any good ideas for the hiring departments? How do Hooters and strip clubs get away with it?

Mexican F/A's

I was on a layover in Guadalajara, Mexico recently and I too witnessed the F/A's (one at a time) walking up to the Captain, saying "buenos dias Capitan" and then kissing him on the cheek. This was down in the hotel lobby just before they got on the shuttle van.

Not sure if it was Aeromexico or Mexicana airlines but I was sure envious of the Captain because all of the F/A's were beautiful Mexican women.

The lawyer was being nice to you. There is no way on this green earth he can do what the airlines did 30 years ago. All we can hope for is that there are enough little hotties to appy for interviews. Us married guys are not sure if we should hope for it or not.

We are working in the most chauvanistic industry I know of. Very different from other jobs I've had.

I mentioned the how to get more "talent" to a friend and he suggested recruiting for flight attentdants at Hooters and other places that have a good talent level already. That way you can flood the training department with "talent" and hopefully get more in. Now I have to figure out how to officially recruit, and maybe even get paid for it if I can sucker the training department into it.
