Well since we are all talking mergers, who do you feel is the best merger fit for your airline ? And why ?

I think NWA would best fit with DAL.

The combination would have a minimal overlap, and create an airline that would fly to almost all the continents, expanding the synergies of both airlines.

IMHO CA would also be a good fit....minimal overlap, a greater pacific route structure....

Nobody! I like where I'm at..sort of...:erm:

UAL and Airtran. It's a possibility.

How many times are you going to waste 10 bucks just to sh!t up other peoples' threads, troll?

I think instructordude and 80for80 would make a great merger. They could fight over which one of their uniforms impressed the most high school chicks at Starbucks in the RJ terminals.

Oh sorry, what am I thinking...they're always telling us how many sponsors they have at FDX, UPS, CAL, SWA, etc, etc...Surely both of them are already on with FDX making 180 an hour with all their deep rooted connections.

Absolutly nobody. I wish all airlines would grow thier fleets/route structor by buying more aircraft and making sound bizz decisions based on the market/customer demand and the diresction of the industry. Enough with this BS about jacking up the shares to satisfy the BOD/share holders.

How about a leader that runs an airline (or any other company for that matter these days) based on his/her responsibility to the customers and employees first instead of lining the pockets of his/her cronies in the the board room.

Yeah.....What he said. Mergers benefit the Wall Street crowd only and offer no benefit for the employees at all.

I would like to merge with either Nicole Kidman or Maria Sharapova, but a merger with Charlize Theron would be acceptable too.

I heard of a new movie staring Angelina Jolie & Charlize Theron coming out. Brokeback Mountain 2, The fur Traders. I could merge with that.

I Hope we merge with People Express....I would love to fly an all brown 747. Ohh woops....wrong decade.
