You obviously don't know Rice727. My suggestion would be to just drop it. You had to realize by doing the PFT program you would not earn any friends amongst the aviation purists who feel their is only one way to an airline job...their way!!

well there still in negotiations with the buyer and should have all matters resolved by mid july...

also putting 5/7 in bax for a while. so liquidation is not in the near future...

Listen, I don't have a dog in this fight, but I really hope that you are looking for new employment while this is happening. It's a lot easier to find a job when you have one, rather than being out of work and trying to find new employment. So, mngmt tells you everything will be resolved. What do you expect them to say? All is lost, so people leave in droves and now they can't fly the a/c because they don't have the bodies? Of course they will tell you all is ok, and they will keep telling you that right up to the second that the doors are chained shut.

We are talking about a few days from now. I have friends over at CAT and hope they do have 5-7 planes in BAX next week. Time will tell!

well cat is the lowest one can contract for all the planes are paid for now cat ownes 12 outright.. so they can underbid anyone.... dhl made an offer to take planes and pilots but ax the present management the offer was rejected.... contract is still in the works will be figured out by mid july and yes i already have two opportunitys to fall back on.....

cat will survive... but not in the same mode as it was previously!!!!

When you say "DHL" are you referring to DHL Holdings Or to one of the two primary ACMI carriers ( Astar or ABXA ) that supply lift for DHL made an offer for CAT A/C and pilots.

I think he might be regurgitating what management has told him so he has hope of a job next month. Who started the BAX rumors? Who started the rumors of 747s, 757s, DC10s? They sure did spark up morale, but to no avail.
