Question? Who at USAir would go a regional if things got uglier? Is this an option for some of you guys?

Fo at 16 years at USAIR will still beat FO at XXX Regional, I believe.

there are no 16 year fo's at airways. I heard that the most junior guy in the cockpit at airways was a jul 86 hire. 18 years.

Also, airways is a regional. they just fly some major routs. ( East of the Mississippi Airlines)

16 year F/O's??

I am an active US Airways pilot hired in Apr 1988. Most junior guy was hired July 1988 - 16 years ago.

I would rather go drive a garbage truck than go to a regional. Mainly because the garbage person is higher paid, has a better schedule, and overall gets more respect than the "commuter pilot" does.

And THAT is the direct result of the attitudes of many pilots at the legacy carriers over the past 20 years or so...TC
