Glad to see your man is doing such a fantastic job after 2.5 years. Where to start?

First debt downgrade ever. Zero leadership (but great sound bites!) resulting in Congressional gridlock (unlike Ronald Reagan in a similar siutation in the 80s). New, huge entitlement program that will make the US worse than Greece financially if it comes to fruition. Zero economic PLAN. Slams Israel. No energy policy - we are still largely dependent upon Saudi Arabia and Venezuela for oil. His economic advisors are dropping like flies and leaving in droves... HE HAS NO ECONOMIC PLAN AND NEVER DID. And, to top it off, he takes a long vacation in expensive Martha's Vineyard while unemployment lines grow...

And I lack intelligence? Really? You voted for him and I didn't. You bought his charisma and "cool" style. But "HOPE" only goes so far... Just think about it. Let me know if you find out what is economic plan is... It ain't working and he has not focused on it since he arrived.

Please tell us how our situation would be any better had Mr. McCain been elected? It wouldn't, especially for pilots.

Nothing is going to change with a republican in White House.

Guess who was in charge when the tax laws/regulations changed to incentivize the move offshore for corporate America? I'll give you a hint... it wasn't Obama. George Bush single handedly destroyed the middle class and now it's supposed to get fixed overnight?

When you replace manufacturing jobs with Burger King and Wal-Mart bad things will happen, someone forgot to tell Bush that along with those manufacturing jobs went the income tax people paid on decent wages. No worries, we'll just give tax breaks to the guys leading the charge offshore. Brilliant, but it does maximize shareholder value. Even Warren Buffett realizes the idiocy in all this.

Leftists were completely in charge for over 2 years with a Super Majority in both houses and "The One" as president. Let's sum up what they accomplished shall we?

1. Instead of stopping 2 wars, he stayed and then entered into 2 more, soon to be 3 with Syria.
2. Gitmo is not only still open, it is humming on all cylinders.
3. Gas has doubled in price.
4. Inflation is ramping up
5. Unemployment that they will admit to is over 9%. for Blacks closer to 20%
6. He now wants the Fed to turn on the printing press for the 3rd time
7. Leftist countries China and Russia are now calling us the "Parasites"
8. No budget in well over 2 years

I could go on but it's too frightening. But The One could have fixed all of this if it wasn't for that obscure lunatic fringe of uneducated rednecks who belong to the Tea Party, who despite being so stupid, have managed to outthink and out maneuverer the "Most Brilliliant President Ever" and his White House full of Havard,Princeton and Yale professors. Is that what your telling me? Really?

So you actually believe that you just shut off two wars, not to mention fix the deficit that those wars have run up, AND fix the decimation of the middle class all in two years?

Let's take a look at what Cletus did:

1) Pissed away a government surplus and ran up a skyrocketing deficit, but Saddam did try to kill his daddy.

2) Eliminated the middle class and the income tax that went with it.

3) Danced like a puppet on a string for big oil and Haliburton.

4) Started two wars he had no plan for finishing and/or what happens afterwards.

5) Responsible for biggest increase in government since the 1940's, which includes the wildly successful TSA/DHS.

“We have now presided over the largest increase in the size of government since the Great Society,” said Sen. John McCain, the Republican candidate vying to replace Mr. Bush in the White House, during the first presidential debate.

I'm no fan of Obama but Jesus Christ and Superman all rolled into one are not going to fix that clusterf*ck in two years, no matter what Sarah Palin says.

So should we give him four more years? Will that be enough? Or should he get four more after that. You conveniently ignored all my examples and stated it was too tough so let me focus on an easy one. Why, after 2 years of controlling everything with a Super majority to boot, could they not at least have written a budget? Don't go back to Bush or Palin and get all frothy mouthed about the Tea Party. Just answer that one simple question.

So you are looking forward to four more years of Obama?

It simple... He is being blamed for FAR more than is his fault and FAR more than he has control over. So yes. It would be far better than Nutty Michelle or Yosemite Sam.

The Onion news paper said it best in one of their recent headlines: "Republicans Vote To Repeal Obama-Backed Bill That Would Destroy Asteroid Headed For Earth".

Its funny, because it is true. Fox news (yeah right news) and talk radio would have no trouble convincing a bunch of stupid sheep that the asteroid only had a 90% chance of destroying earth and that we can't afford it anyway.

Unfortunately administrations do NOT change in a vacuum, they just don't start with a fresh sheet of paper. Obama needs to realize that Washington DC, neither side, is NOT willing to compromise. If he had just rammed a budget up the a** of the Republicans, people would be screaming bloody murder that there was no compromise, even though no one actually making the deals is interested in compromise either.

Like I said, I'm no fan of Obama and I have no confidence that ANYONE can fix this mess. I guess it comes down to the old standby arguments: guns, abortion, cabotage, welfare, etc.

The two party system has become handcuffs for the US.

Oh my....

Leftists were completely in charge for over 2 years with a Super Majority in both houses and "The One" as president. Let's sum up what they accomplished shall we?

1. Instead of stopping 2 wars, he stayed and then entered into 2 more, soon to be 3 with Syria. Iraq is throttled down, I'll give you afganistan. Lybia, thousands of civilians were being killed, no troops on the ground. I support this action.
2. Gitmo is not only still open, it is humming on all cylinders. I'll give you this
3. Gas has doubled in price. I don't need to tell you that oil is a global commodity, right? During bush it reached 147 dollars/ barrel, was it bushes fault? No. Speculation is a big factor, but how do you regulate on a global scale? Before you say drill baby drill... Even if we could bring more capacity to the market, OPEC would cut capacity at an equal clip. We need alternative energy, more nuclear, better batteries, etc.
4. Inflation is ramping up Europes woes will likely keep this in check.
5. Unemployment that they will admit to is over 9%. for Blacks closer to 20%Without the stimulus it would be closer to 20 for everyone, it saved millions of jobs. The problem.. It wasn't enough. We underestimated the scale of how bad this economy was.
6. He now wants the Fed to turn on the printing press for the 3rd time
7. Leftist countries China and Russia are now calling us the "Parasites" Take a look at chinas debt... Let's just say they ain't building that country for free.
8. No budget in well over 2 years

No, we are concerned with a radical few that hold the congress hostage for their own views.... No compromise. They would rather default then consider raising taxes. They argue against the bank bailouts... Yeah it sucked but without it the great depression would have looked like a minor economic bump in comparison. No doubt we need to make changes, cut entitlements, trim the budget, but we also have to own this debt and increase revenue. Before you say I won't be affected... I will. I am in a household making well over 300k and if "wealth generators" are going to be targeted I'm probably in that group. It sucks for sure, but it is what it is.

Yea, that's the ticket. Let's be more like Europe and have the Greens, the Socialists, and on and on and instead of 3 partys in Congress, we will have 9 or 10. It's worked for them.

As long as each party digs in their heels on their "core" issues, there will be no compromise. Without compromise nothing gets accomplished, we are in no position to be critical of other governments. Republicans used to say smaller government is better, I agree completely, somehow that went out the window with Bush and never came back. He got played like a piano by corporate America and now someone has to clean up the mess.
