The game is football. The object of the game is to advance the ball and to win.
Which team do you think has a better chance of winning ??
Team A: Full of bitchy, whiny prima-donnas, who bicker at each other in the huddle and bring up issues form the past: "I want the ball...you should have caught that ball...that should have been a run play. You parked in my spot."
When the ball is snapped the team is disorganized, clueless and ineffective.
Team B: The huddle goes like this: "OK, that last play didn't go as well as we thought, but here's what we are gonna do. We're on the 35 and need 7 yards for a first down. You go here, this guy blocks that guy, I'll fake the hand-off and pass it to that guy. That should get us a first down. On three. Break.
It's labor vs management.
Choose a team. Go to a mirror and look yourself in the eye and realize that this is about your livelyhood, your family, your loved ones. It determines the kind of house you wil live in, the kind of car you will drive. The kind of schools you kids will go to. How much time you will be home to actually teach your kids right from wrong. How much money will be in your 401k, 20 years from now, because you are not going to build time and move on to something better. At least not most of us.
Read the 'Majors' section. The cancer is everywhere. Wal-mart is lobbying Congress to be able to make their truckers drive 16 hours/day. I didn't get put on this planet to be a 16-hour worker bee, get 2 weeks off and be managements scared puppet.
Now, look yourself in the eye and ask yourself which team you would rather be on.
I have chosen. Choose tonight.
