I'm a current 135 guy who is going to get displaced soon....our outfit is likely shutting its doors. I have 1600TT, 1300ME, 660 turbine and i live in the Northeast....who is a good regional to go with -- Republic, AWAC, Pinnacle?

The company sucks BIG donkey balls, but you might be able to get a quick Dash 8 captain Job with Mesa out of the Northeast. Did I mention the company sucks BIG donkey balls?

My advice: don't screw around with regionals, fly freight instead.

Might I suggest FedEx or UPS?

It depends on what you want out of the job. If you want to stay in the Northeast then pick a regional that has bases in the Northeast. If you want stuff like QOL or "stable" company then pick one based on those. If you want to stay in the Northeast then try Colgan. They have many bases in the NE. Most of thier outstations are pilot bases so youve got ALB, HYA, PVD, AUG, BHB, and all kinds of other places in the NE I cant think of right now. Im not really sure what regionals have a good QOL right now...but I have buddies at CHQ and they seem pretty happy. Im at TSA and Id say stay away from here..plus we are furloughing instead of hiring right now anyways so I guess thats a moot point. Besides that I think AWAC is opening up lots of bases on the east coast now...but I dont know anyone that works there so Im not exactly sure were the bases are, but it seems like AWAC is a decent place to work from what I've heard. Besides that I dont really have any other advice.

Pinnacle would be your best bet. Of course, on day 3 of indoc, you will be required to take a drug test, have the IT deptartment get your Myspace profile on line and pick out you backpack.
