I don't think this is a big secret, but in case you didn't know, Brit Air is the launch customer with an order for 14 airframes.

To get the "10"...aka CRJ-1000?
RAH when they takeover the Midwest certificate. The CRJ1000000 could complement Southwest or any low cost carrier that has 100 to 150 pax flights but can't really afford an A320 or 737 during these times.

I think RAH would be better off with getting ERJ190s or even ERJ195s to replace Midwest's 717s. Those are a more comparable replacement.

PSA has the CRJ-1000? I bet their crews are incredibly excited to be flying such a huge piece of metal.

The "10" ? Flame Bait...
This "10" is not flamebait. Bombardier said the 10 was bought by a U.S. carrier over a year ago. That airline has asked Bombardier not to release who they are. The word is that Jerry Atkin of Skywest was in Montreal to sign some kind of deal just 3 days before Bombardier made the announcement. Also there is a video of Jerry Atkin appearing in a CRJ1000 commercial.

Please don't refer to it as the "10". That's an insult to the real "10" pilots.

That's an arrogant statement. Where is the new generation of regional pilots going to get large jet aircraft experience if they don't fly them at the regionals?

ASA will get the CRJ-1000 as an alter ego carrier, with the callsign Candler.

bigger than a 170/crj700 isn't it? It's got MAINLINE all over it not outsourced to a regional.

Yep and I flew little turbo-props thousands of hours...hmm. What a dilema.
