Here in Central Illinois, in corn and soybean country, there are plenty of bugs, they coat the plane in summer. What works for me is distilled water in a spray bottle, spray it when their little bodies are still squishy and wipe their corpses off with a microfiber towel. I use distilled water to wipe the plane down and then polish the bug surfaces with Bug Slide, works great! Amazon.com
While I don't have distilled water yet, I have been using the bug slide. Stuff seems to be working great for cleaning bugs off and also polishing leaving a nice finish. Thanks @Cubonaut875. You're a wealth of great tips :)

I did a batch of used towels in the wash @Cubonaut875 recommended and I think the old towels are too far screwed up to recover. That's fine, I received my Costco shipment yesterday of enough towels for the entire airport to enjoy! Goodness...but if I go the disposal route I'm set.

Loving my brand new Costco microfiber towels. No more wrestling with the used/laundered ones.

I probably need to trash my 10 year old microfiber towels and break down and buy some new ones
