Sounds like that guys an A$$. The FO's need to make more period. Just because I made 13K as a FO on the ATR doesn't make 25K alright. This is a different world and different airline. There is much more responsibility now. Besides I'll get a raise just by not buying all the BEER!!!!!!!:D

I'm glad to hear that XJet pilots still want to reset the bar on pay and work rules. $50K a year in NJ would indeed be tough to live on. I hope that when I get on there the pay is such that I can move my family and live comfortably wherever I'm based.

Bold assumption, especially coming from someone who decided he didn't "need to be a CFI" because he could go play "airline pilot" over at Tab Express. Everyone makes choices in life. Clearly you have made yours. I hope for your sake that the interviewers at my airline aren't put off by someone who bought a few hundred hours of turbine multi time at Tab. Then again, we've hired Gulfstream guys in the past and they did great. I flew with one and I was impressed with his skills and professionalism. However, call me old fashioned, but I just think what Tab is doing is BS.

Sam

PS - I did not PFT here at Express. Some did and it worked out very well for them.
