Where is the starting line?

Just curious when can I start the counter of my pool time. I assume that the date on my pool letter is the official start time but I know I can squeeze about 4 more weeks worth of bragging if I count my interview date as the beginning mark. Besides, if it does start to push up against the 22 month window, I want to know where I stand with regard to the record. Nothing is worse than being in a mine is bigger than yours contest and then realizing that you come up short by 4 inches, oops, I mean 4 weeks. Also, for the ones in the 22 month pool class - at what point to you start to develop gills?

Anyone heard any good rumors, and if not, anyone care to make some up?

Gills came after about a year. Before that, I was treading water and turning into a prune. Actually, I stopped obsessing about it after 6 months- though I took my cell phone everywhere in case KD called. Once Friday came, I could "relax" until Monday 8 am, when I'd stare at the phone for another 5 days straight.

There is nothing to brag about... couldn't care less that I was one of the one treading for so long.
