My friend just had interview with Mesa last Thursday. She told me that they have 1900 class and dash8 class within few weeks. She did not say anything about RJ. Also she told me that they said high timer is going to dash or 1900. I do not know what is high time over there. I do not know she got call or not.

The ninth circle of hell. Like the rest of us.

I think new hires are currently either going to the Dash-8 in the New York area (direct entry captain slots available here), the CRJ 200 in IAD, or the ERJ in ATL/MCO.

Cheers.

Haha...that's exactly what I was going to say!

DON'T DO IT! RUN! SAVE YOURSELF!

Heard a lot were either going to the 1900 or the Dash 8 since they both were trying to fill slots for upcoming class dates. Not sure when a CRJ/ERJ class date is but I heard they are trying to put together one at the end of the month.

Don't you mean that Pizza Delivery guys are getting second jobs as Mesa F/Os?

Also IAD MESA is gone at the end of the year anyway as well as the rest of the UA op.

ERJs will likely leave IAD for the Delta system. CRJs are there to stay.

They treat us really bad. Dont say you were not warned.

the prone position, yes, and when JO gets tired, expect a transition to a kneeling position. One of the two, either way, he's happy, all the while making millions while you're willingly abused.

How hard is it to get the AHN base on the 1900 out of training. Where all does that aircraft fly, just CLT and back? Day trips only on the 1900 or regular trips? Thanks

Hopefully DL will wake up and give Mesa the boot.

Well they are on the cusp of getting the boot by DL. At least DL has said the end of Oct is the final step in the release of Freedom of their responsibilities.

Yeh, you had better go to PDT. It olnly takes you 8 years to top out at 33 hr.

HA!, notice the mesa coversation going on between the good threads! Gaa, that's gotta suck. I was hanging out at a bar and this guy told me where he worked and could barely say it. It was embarrising for him, I didn't even bother indulging our friends with the details that they wouldn't understand
