Thanks guys, appreciate the support. We're all in this together now...Well except for the UAL -400 Captains. Maybe they need a mass blanket party in the parking lot?

Well, I'm furloughed UAL and really NOT hoping for a CAL recall. Let me see, flying with a bunch of CAL Captains who are really pissed just to see me on their property? No thanks.

I guess I would have been a lineholder right now at CAL ,with my UAL date of hire, but I chose the wrong airline in 2000. You think you're about to get screwed? Pretty much every CAL guy hired after me will be put ahead of me.

We're all gonna get screwed. Some a little worse than others. Mergers always suck.

I don't know one Captain at CAL that wouldn't like to have you come over to CAL. I think if you and all the other UAL pilots and CAL pilots check the ego's and attitudes at the door, we'll have a kick arse airline. Listen, if I was a UAL 98 hire and on reserve on the bottom and being faced with an arbitration ruling that won't go in my favor....I'd be pissed too. But that's the reality. If roles were reversed, you'd be saying the same thing. It blows, move on. We need a JCBA that's good for EVERYONE. So let's put the attitudes away and get this done people.

i'd go to cal and IAH in a sec-- EWR maybe an hour
just like any airline, cal's peeps are 99% great, it's the one percent that always do and will suck.
