You know there's never as good a time to be looking for a new job, than when you have a job.
It might be beneficial to step back. Back in 1998, I was a Lear Capt/Check Airman, and I left that job to take a King Air 200 job. The part 91 King Air paid $75,000, the 135 Lear job was paying $45,000. Taking the King Air job ended up being a great career move the. Obliviously, I had reservations of going from a jet to a turbo prop at that point in my career. However, if I didn't take the King Air job I would have never met the people I work for now.
