That's all any Legacy pilot is. That's the downside to this airplane. Employers think (or rather, *KNOW*) they can hire 100 ERJ drivers to replace you if you quit.
I made about $47K at the Regionals. Making $53K-56K and having 8 days off in a row every time you come home (and more even many times) is a dream compared to flying ERJs six legs a day all day every day... It's actually sad, but I'm not exactly overworked and my boss NEVER bothers me about anything. In terms of QOL it's great. Salary...not so great, but I'm competing against every ERJ driver in the world so I'm at a major disadvantage (and my boss knows it).
If this were a Falcon, G-IV, Citation X or any other non-airline jet I bet the salary would be double. But then again, I don't know what Net Jets and Options guys make on similar equipment so that could deflate stuff.
