You are a very vocal, and judging by your icon under your name, a very prejudicial minority. A typical Texan.
So if TSA pilots were to fly the 70 seat jets.... Should AA pilots say that the TSA guys are SCAB's for busting the APA SCOPE Limits? Should the the AA pilots deny the jumpseats to the TSA guys for the AX violations? Should not the AE pilots deny the Jumpseat to the TSA pilots now?
FOR GOD SAKE.... TSA PILOTS ARE FLYING EAGLE PLANES..... HOW MUCH MORE OF A CONTRACT VIOLATION IS THAT???
I hate to rehash an old old thread...but several people on here are acting like 3rd graders.... Mommy Mommy Billy called me a name...
GROW THE F%$K UP!!!

I stand corrected.
I can only guess as to the amount of bitching by the TSA pilots if AA droped the code share. They would probly ask for lists of the AA pilots, deny AE and AA the jumpseats, say that the flying is their and it is SCABed work.
This GoJet airline is Legal and Legitimate. TSA is upset because their MEC screwed up. ALPA is upset because the TSA MEC screwed up.
Maybe it is the TSA MEC that needs to be looked at again. Focus some time and energy there and I think things would change sooner than bitching here.
Not all cqfo's were former part 121 nor were they all former captains; they just needed to have at least 3000 TT.snap145 said:I dont know what CQFO stands for but it essentially means a furloughed 121 pilot hired off the street who was already left seat at his/her previous carrier...
No cqfo's have been hired since late 2003 -- and only a handful are left, most having moved-on or upgraded. And just FYI for those unfamiliar, cqfo's were permitted in the Contract. The big problem was TSA hiring cqfo's off the street versus using those already FO-qualified, which was the intent of the provision. It's still being grieved....what i dont know is if these new hire captains are getting hired on in the right or left seat...
