What's the status on the American side hiring

I've heard everything from app window opening this week to nothing until 2014 at the earliest. Does anyone have any credible info on this?

From the flight office, there seems to be a larger number of pilot's cancelling their deferral and combined with a number of AE pilot's that still have to come over they anticipate that hiring may not occur until
late 2013 or more than likely early 2014.

That was posted recently and from what I have heard, seems fairly accurate at this time. They have announced that they will have classes in
Sept and Oct at 60 per month to cover the above mentioned need.

Stay tuned for further info once they exit bankruptcy and get a good
grasp on what their intentions are. Early 2014 is my guess.
