What is the deal with United giving up your routes? Are you going to be able to compete with the others that are bidding? Best of luck to you guys.....I have a couple of frat buds there.

Last summer, one of the "freight runner" pilots was explaining to me, how his math indicated there would be 2 year upgrades at air willy. He told me that at his interview, that interviewers told him upgrades would be about 7-8 years.

I tried to reason with him on his creative articulation of the seniority list, but he was absoloutely positive they told him upgrades would take that long, to see if he really wanted the job.

He took the position at air willy, and I don't blame him...I wouldn't want to have to work at frieght runners either. But I seriously doubt that his prediction based on the creative articulation of the AWC seniority list, is going come to come true.

I had considered air willy, since it is in my area and I know several people that work there...but with the turbulent times we live in, I'm staying put.

Good luck air willy guys and girls! I honestly do hope that you guys do o.k.

It's really very simple...last year AWAC made money and UAL wants it. I don't think UAL really want to replace AWAC....it's just their way of making us cut our own pay.
