Aussie, the more info that comes out, the easier it is to be sympathetic. I can see that the guy made a bad decision that he will never repeat because of the high price he paid for his foolishness. I think he should be given another chance in aviation. I don't think the company he worked for at the time should have to take him back, but I do think a different one should give him a chance. He is now a lot less likely than a bunch of other guys to be tempted by a sexy smile and a pair of swaying hips.
Thanks, Fernando! It's not just the job, though. It's the demands of the lifestyle and how much I dislike the way pilots are being underpaid. So it's also a human interest thing with me. I respect and admire those who stand up for themselves.
