I firmly believe that if people remain open-minded and truly seek fair solutions that they will discover common ground. That is why unions and management do have the ability to work together. It all depends on the people involved and the attitudes held by each.

Anyone that stupid deserves to lose their job.. I can't think of any millionaire that would want a guy driving their jet that uses that type of judgement. So in that area he got what he deserved. On the other hand, he'd be well within his rights (both legal or moral) to sue her for legal fees and jail time. Glad to hear he got out and sorry to think that her actions will most likely call in to question the accusations of other women who were truely assaulted. Unfortunately for true rape victims there are about as many false claims as there are legitimate ones.

Good point,H25b! That's a real concern.

UG, I don't expect that you will care, but just by way of explanation, these are critical times for many frac families. They need all the encouragement they can get. Pilots are in the process of standing up for themselves and I applaud their efforts. I'd also like the anti-union crowd to understand that productive solutions can be reached quicker when labor and management work together to solve problems. Let's just say that I have insider knowledge about that.

she ought to be sued for ruining this guy's career.

I think the guy that banged her pretty much sqeezed everything she had outta her. You could take her to civil court, but he wouldn't get anything.

So it was all caught on video by the security cams? im sure that video will find its way into the Internet Amateur videos one day,.......heheheh

Netwife, i wish i could geta wife like you someday! you seem so interested and understanding of your husband job, what a lucky guy!

From what I understand the actual "act" was not caught on camera. Just their flirting and PDA in the terminal prior to heading into the stairwell.

Didn't we elect a president that had "that type of judgement." Although the oval office and a cigar are a little different than the stair well in ATL.

The guy made a mistake but did nothing illegal in terms of the girls age. The age of sixteen is fair game in GA. Someone help this poor guy get a job. Most of us have been put in the position he was in, some made the right decision and some just didn't caught.

If I remember correctly the girl in question looked MUCH MUCH older than what she was. The previous poster got it pretty spot on, consensual sex in the stairwell and then she called rape. DA promptly dropped the charges when he viewed the tape and the witness reports.

Unfortunately, this guy has lost his job and his career. From what I was told he is finding it extremely difficult to find work in the industry and that it has pretty much finished his career in aviation.

Now before some of you people jump on the bandwagon and start extorting what bad judegement he used and how he deserved to get fired, think again.

We can all be boneheads at some time or another. Just think of the scenaro where a hot chick is coming on to you at the FBO whilst you were doing a turn to pick up frac passengers. What would you do if she offered up the goodies????

Or what if a pax decided they wanted you flat on your back in the back of a plane and they were drop dead gorgeous, sayplayboy bunnies in the back???.

The point i'm making is that us guys can make bonehead choices when our johnson is concerned. Don't simply sentence and hang a guy before the full story becomes known.

NetJetwife - your response is pretty normal for most people in this situation. Just imagine what this guy has faced from everyone else in aviation since this incident. By the way it was pretty good of you to apologise.

Cheers
P.S how many of us could tell the difference between a 19 year old college chick and a 16 year old girl...pretty hard these days and the older we get the harder it is.
