Anybody got the # for In-n-out? $100000/year for a store mgr!
California fast-food chain In-N-Out Burger for years has printed Bible verses, such as John 3:16, on cups and wrappers. It also pays new workers at least $9.50 an hour, far above the fast-food norm. Store managers average just under $100,000 a year.
Did anybody go see the movie Borat? When he fell asleep in front of that crazy "snake handling" charasmatic church, how many people stopped to help him on their way in Sunday morning? None. They stepped right over him, on their way to do "God's work". I know that movie was really funny, but it spoke huge about the human condition. When do you think people in this country will figure out that our true religion is money and we worship at the church of ATM? ( my apologies to Chris Rock) If Jesus was walking the earth today, I would bet he wouldn't set foot in 99% of the churches. He would be hanging with the homeless, addicted and poor. Don't expect any religious person to part with their true god, money. Christianity here is nothing more than a business that creates wealth for a few and disappointment for the majority....Wait, that sounds just like airline management.
What would Jesus pay at CHQ?
If my understanding is correct, Jesus would not actually pay (give you) money; he would teach you how to print your own.
true..but i would say he is the reason why any of us would have an airline job...
Negative, Ghost Rider. The reason I have an airline job is because I'm lazy and I've got a thing for grumpy overweight middle-aged women.
1. If we spend $13 billion a year to feed all of the hungry, we would soon find ourselves with a hungry population which is 10X what it is today. It's Rush's "Free will." Those Catholic statistics are pretty pointless and guilt laden. "So Father, should I be ashamed of myself for having a family pet when there's even a single hungry person in the world?"That is hilarious, yet really not funny at all. But In mass on sunday the priest talked about our lack of giving to poor because we feel we can't afford it. two statistics really stuck with me.
1. 13 billion dollars a year is what it would take to feed all the hungry. Us and Europe spend 17 billion a year on pet food.
2. 6 billion dollars a year is what it would take to provide drinkable water to all those who don't have it now. The us spends 7 billion a year on alcohol.
crazy
