Don't forget that 3-day Europe trip (majority worth between 18:30 and 2000) reports mid afternoon on day 1, some as late as 1800 + and returns on day 3 usually by 1530 and some as early as 1230. Time away from base usually less than 48+00. I'll take it over a 3 day domestic, with 0600 report day 1 and 2030 finish on day 3, anytime..even if I didn't mind the 3 or 4+ legs a day, with all the a/c swaps and bag drags (at least at DAL).

And "money exchanging"?? Haven't seen anyone do that in years. ATM or credit card is easier and a lot cheaper...

Yup.

Yeah, I got a chuckle from that one, too.

Delta is the better airline because they allow regional feed. I cant wait to see some 50-70 seaters painted Southwest colors! Blurple will look great on an RJ

Some more fuel to the fire.... If SWA hadn't bought AT they would be about as close to going international now as they were in 1982.

SWA bought AT

At least you've gotten to the last stage: ACCEPTANCE & HOPE

SWA was still closer to flying international than AirTran in 1982, heck, even 1992.

Sorry Red, but variety wins here.

Bye Bye---General Lee

Everybody wins at Delta, except the shareholders and vendors. Bankruptcy, what a crock.:puke:

Widebody pay has passed your 737 pay

Bye Bye---General Lee

You know General, the funny thing is....it hasn't.

Unless you are really senior and get the top 5% of the trips, the pay while being gone is not good. You can have a payrate that's higher than ours, but the lack of productivity in your lines equates to making less. What happened to your rigs? Did they get gutted in bankruptcy?

Our min days are 6.5, your's seems to be around 5.

Uh wrong there Red boy, I have grossed just over 120k so far this year with an average of 15 days off. Three paychecks to go to mid year and am e pecting over 150k on June 30th. That includes five double pay trips. I do a lot of island turns that are half deadhead but give me 9+ hours for the day. I am about 3200 seniority too. My credit for this month is already at 117 hours with 68 block. I also have the last seven days off making me prime for another double time pick up.

Shhhh. Let them talk. They just continue to show their true ignorance and stupidity. It's quite comical. Just look at how many threads have turned into a DL vs. SW.

WTF is this? Scoot 11's love fest is alive and well and my USAIR/USAPA threads that I crafted with tender loving care do not survive past day two? I am deeply offended! Mods, PETA, NAMBLA where are you? (scream, yell, sob)*

*Congrats Scoot 11, you seem to have more luck than me. Good job!

""""Hotel rooms not ready when you get to the hotel, because the crew before you just left the hotel."""

Do like we used to do when that happened -- go to the couches in the lobby, take off your shoes and socks, loosen the top 3 buttons on your shirt, unbutton your belt and pants, stretch out on the couches and with a yawn tell them to let you know when the rooms were ready. Won't take long if in a 5 Star hotel.
