Wost state? I didn't like New York, but I was mostly only in the vicinity of NYC each of the times I was there and I don't think its fair to write off the whole state based on those experiences.
I was uneasy in Georgia and sometimes the Carolinas because I frequently could not see the sky for the trees. It suprised me that I felt a little closed in by that. That said, I really enjoyed those places.
Best state? Texas. No question.
We have just about everything. Great culture, big cities, small towns, mountains, dessert, huge areas that are almost pristine and undeveloped. Besides, the women are beautiful and there's no state income tax.
We're also home to God's favorite football team, the Dallas Cowboys (I can't WAIT to see the comments on THAT!!
).
One last thought. Most of the states people like, if you ask the people who are from there they would usually they don't like it. In this, Texas may have its most unique characteristic. People from here really do like it here. People from California or Florida... most of them moved to Texas.
