What State do you hate the most?

I'll agree with Chawbein - the People's Republic of Massachusetts is horrible - if it moves, they will tax it. Being hubbed in Boston has really been an eye opening experience.

Favorite state is still South Carolina - warm, friendly, inexpensive, and slightly nuts. Someone once said SC is too small to be a republic and too large to be an insane asylum!

Catbird, you beat me to it! Baltimore/DC area has to be one of the worst places in the country. MD is the cancer capital of the US, not to mention it has the highest rate of STD's in the US. The bay is solid filth and I wouldn't eat anything from it, including the crabs. Speaking of crabs, half the girls in MD have 'crabs'. I wouldn't touch most girls there with someone else's d***. The people there suck, the schools suck, increasingly unaffordable to live there, more idiotic morons per square mile than you can imagine, and the list goes on. I'll never go back.....

Missouri, indeed can be bad. just stay away from cities with less than 75,000 people! and if you live near the big cities (KC, StL) make sure you live just about IN them. move 30 miles away from any of those locations mentioned....and the women gain 25+ pounds right away and loose one (1) college degree. and as ive always told people about where im from, the middle, the women are looking for new husbands and the men are looking for new trucks....nuff said about MO. glad i have opportunity to escape however honestly...its really easy going, great fishing (Bass Pro HQ in SGF), great hunting, good dollar value, not much snow and its only blistering hot for a few weeks (july-august) its a mix and you can find anything if you look for it.

bad thing? well lee greenwood got an extended career here with 9/11. good song...but i dont like the guy.

but a state i hate? well i think theres all kinds of good in every single state out there. and the same logic follows for them. STAY AWAY FROM CITIES OF LESS THAN 75,000 PEOPLE !! i cant stress it enough. you will find the "rednecks" anywhere you go in small towns.

they're called rednecks in the midwest. called Woodchucks in the northeast. they're everywhere people!!


i dont like 6+ months of winter. that rules out buffalo and anywhere north of I-90 for me.

Hate - New York!!! and the city got what they deserved when they voted Hilary in. i even lived in upstate and it sucked , the weather, no mexican food; and every parcel of land is privately owned,whats up with that,no National Forest to have fun in.

I hate Mississippi. I have lived here for the past seven years, and I will never learn to even like it. Maybe it is due to the fact that I live in a suburb of Memphis(the racial tensions of the MLK days are still alive and well today)oh well. Mississippi summers suck bad, 100 degree heat with 90% humidity day after day. Once we make it to winter time we rarely see any snow and that sucks bad.

The critters that live in this state real make me sick. I have moles digging around tearing up my yard every year, I have racoons in my backyard and my garage, in fields where there are no homes yet you will rats out the booty. During the summertime these little black centipeed things comeout by the billions and they are next to impossible to kill, they climb up your walls, climb down your chimmny. Wasps and hornets are everywhere. When you work in your yard you dont find regular dirt, it is nasty heavy red clay Mississippi mud. Black Widdows and Brown Recluse spiders love to reside in your homes. I don't generally like to generalize people, but in the case of Mississippi, the good ole Baptist Bible Belt, people are the biggest gossips I have ever seen in my life.

On the other hand. I would love to live in Colorado.

I hate it that it has been so dry there.
Can't even begin to list all that I love about it, except that it is far away from Mississippi.

Seems like everyone likes Colorado. I'm a native of Denver and have been stuck in the suburbs all my life, and sorta getting tired of it. Didnt realize this was such a popular state. And its not just the mountains where people drive crazy here, its everywhere. My friend from virginia said he'd rather drive in DC in rush hour than here and that hes never seen worse drivers. But at least the scenery's pretty and its a pilot friendly state.

Colorado Sucks!!!

Too many people, traffic is a nightmare, economy is in the toilet, and housing has gone through the roof. Plus with UAL's troubles there's lots of out of work pilots in the area.
No way any of you guys want to move here. The mountains are overrated and who needs over 300 days of sunshine every year. I hate it when the day after a snow storm it hits 70 degrees in December and that 10-15% humidity in the summer makes those 90 degree summer days feel like only 85. Try Kansas, Nebraska, or Utah I hear its great out there , lots of land to get lost in and a raging social scene from what I hear.

I know I''ll prob get a lot of crap about this, but my vote is with...Florida! I realize that all these people want to retire here, but that's part of the problem. It's God's waiting room! Yeah, it gets cold in other places, but it gets so humid here it's disgusting. Yes, it has nice beaches, but that's it...totally flat. I can't wait to have FL in my rear-view mirror!

I can agree with Oklahoma. Never lived there, but did visit for a while. Oklahoma is what Florida would be without the beaches & old people, one big flat boring place.

Bear in mind that I've only spent a significant amount of time in a handfull of states: Florida, Tennessee, Texas, Georgia, Washington, Wyoming, and Colorado.

In my humble opinion, Georgia sucks. Hard.

Colorado and Wyoming are my favorites...but you gotta love Florida and Texas for not having state income taxes!

i dont actually hate any state although the flat plains states are a little more boring than the rest. Although the UP of michigan after a week of rain in july and the mosqitoes had me hating every second i was there while losing a pint of blood per hour. Besides that it was pretty up there, just gotta keep moving i guess.

I wasn't born in Texas, but I grew up and got smart and went there ... it's my favorite place in the country, and one way or another I'll get back someday.

Grew up in NY ... previous poster right on; they got what they deserved with Hillary. Too d*mn much snow in Rochester, don't know how my parents stand it. Live in NC now ... the people are nice and the weather isn't bad, but the taxes are hideous.

Florida = Flat, Featureless. God's Waiting Room. No thanks.
Oklahoma = Flat, Featureless. A woman behind every tree.
(You Okies will need a little extra time to figure that one out.)

Kentucky is beautiful, but you've got to live in the right part or you'll find hick central.

California has great natural beauty ... but the politics are intolerable and the taxes make NY, NC, and Taxachusetts look like bargains.

Now the Pacific NW is nice for me. Lots of cool mountains to climb, good hiking, camping, etc. In the winter when it gets cold just start a fire and keep your woman warm!

Why does everyone like Colorado so much? I think it sucks...at least Colorado Springs does...no women, nothing to do...but I could deal with Aspen
My favorite places would either be Miami (born and raised there), or Coronado, California.
