Just curious as to what the longest anyone has heard of FED EX letting folks know their hire status from interview? Thanks

Sarge: Here's my story. Yesterday was 9 weeks for me. That's when I received my letter. However, it was dated 17 April. It seems they tried to deliver it then, but it went to the wrong address. I had my sponsor call at the 7 1/2 week point to see what was going on. They told him they'd already sent it, but they'd send it again. Went to the distribution center but they couldn't deliver because of a bad address. They called and I gave them the correct address and they said it would come the next day. Three days later and still nothing. Finally on Tuesday I called HR and got the whole thing straightened out.
I guess my point is sometimes it can take a loooong time. How long have you been waiting? One of the guys in my interview group actually got a training date before I even got my notification letter.

Phaed,
Congrats dude! Finally! Hopefully I'll join you after my year in the penalty box.

You are a moron. The SBI is stupid and proves nothing more than you are capable of making a decision even if it is a stupid decision...Glad you liked the futile exercise.

I waited 8 weeks to get the good news. I read on here that someone else waited 8 weeks to get the bad news. If it makes you feel any better, these are the only 2 cases I have heard of where people waited this long. Most people seem to be waiting about 3-5 weeks.

Good Luck!!

Read my post above.

My bad Phaedrus. Congratulations!!!

Grab a cold one and Welcome to the pool!! You too OnTheDock!

Authors note: Some people wait between 8 and 9 weeks.

Quiet: Thanks for the props. Got a cold one as we trade 1's and 0's. I have a 7' Surftech and am looking to replace my 9' longboard that the movers trashed. I like the Walden longboard....bulletproof.

Thanks, guys. I have been waiting quite a while and was trying to see if others have experienced the same thing.

Cheers,
Sarge

I've had a 9'0 Magic Model for a few years now. Bulletproof is right! It's been through moves and flown halfway around the world. It's taken many poundings that would have snapped any triple stringer like a popsicle stick. Just brought it back from Bali and had to do a minor ding repair courtesy Singapore Airlines, but still have yet to have a ding penetrate fully through the outer epoxy layer.
But whatever you do, don't buy one from Planet Surf in Hawaii. The owner is a total asshole.
