I am considering a move and was wondering if there are any Spirit pilots here? Maybe you could tell me what it is like there.

I do know that you are getting the A319's and I hear that the 321's are coming.

Thanks for your time.

Mike

I don't work for Spirit but they have had 321's for a while now as well as the 319's. I see them in LGA and FLL all the time.

Did some time there. Great crews. Good people to work with. Descent work environment. Still a gamble though. Some us vs. them stuff and management issues. They have some good investors and are trying to make some money.

Cappy, run a search for Spirit on this forum, there have been a few strings in the last few months. In general, TGR is correct.

Management is in transition, new CEO etc, and is paying lip service to a new attitude. Recent firings cast doubt on their committment to making this place a great place to work.

For the time being, work rules are decent, pay is decent, and the union is well run.

Having a south Florida address will go a long way towards getting hired at Spirit.

good luck,

Notice any favor toward the Detroit based "red tails" looking for calmer seas?
