I know that ITT is usually taken from the discharge of the HPT. But Ive had a total brain fart and cannot remember what the letters in ITT stand for.
Something Turbine temp???

You made my day. For some reason I could not remember at all.
thanks.

Between LPT & HPT

I think I've heard it referred to as intra-stage, or inter-stage temp, but internal makes sense, too. In the CF34-3A1, the probes (10) are between the low pressure turbine and high pressure turbine.

ITT

On the Pratt PT6 it stands for interstage turbine temperature. It's a measure of the engine gas temp between the compressor turbine and the power turbine.

ITT (Interstage Turbine Temperature) Temperature of hot gases at some intermediate position between multiple turbine wheels.

Straight from the Garrett manual.
