I know that ITT is usually taken from the discharge of the HPT. But Ive had a total brain fart and cannot remember what the letters in ITT stand for.
Something Turbine temp???
I think I've heard it referred to as intra-stage, or inter-stage temp, but internal makes sense, too. In the CF34-3A1, the probes (10) are between the low pressure turbine and high pressure turbine.
On the Pratt PT6 it stands for interstage turbine temperature. It's a measure of the engine gas temp between the compressor turbine and the power turbine.
