There's a general reluctance among the pilot group to complain in front of other pilots you don't know. You never know who will stab you in the back in hopes of increasing their merit score. It's happened to me.

Its happened to you there?? Or at a another company?

That policy musta' been changed. Not one of the six guys I talked to was wearing a jacket. They were all Captains, by the way ... no three-stripers in sight.
Are you sure about this? I wasn't aware that the CS uniforms had any stripes at all. I have never seen a set of epaulettes on a CS pilot.

Are you sure about this?
Yeah .. pretty sure. All six in dark slacks, white shirt, epaulets (sp?). And the guy I talked to said they were all Captains, as well. I dunno ... sanity check time for Minh? :(

Anyone know? Do CS guys wear stripes?

What are the training requirements/commitments at CitationShares, i.e. how long is the commitment for training?

If they had stripes they were not CS pilots. No boards no stripes.

They were CS, I have the business cards. I musta imagined the stripes.

Just a little info on Shres pilots. During indoc we get fitted for tailored suits, and NO Epaulettes. Yes Guys EVERYONE is typed in their aircraft.

Over the last year or two I've conversed with all the different frac company pilots at FBO's and I came to the conclusion that Flexjet and CS were indeed the happiest group of people. I never heard one negative comment from any flexjet pilot. They all seemed to like their company and that is one big reason why I chose to work at flexjet. Can't wait to start class!

Hey Cosmo thats because they are all at Netjets now...I've flown with no less than 6 exFlex guys that came to NJA because there was no way they were ever going to upgraded...As bad as things have been lately at NJA they ALL said we suck the least LOL

lol. Well, I really could care less about upgrade time because I plan on staying at flex. If someone wants a quick upgrade time it probably means they want to leave for something else eventually anyways, ie, fedex etc.... I mean, do people gripe about upgrade times at UPS??

yeah, the captain pay would be nice sooner too but, I can wait for that. With flex adding almost 17 300's next year, I bet upgrades won't be that long now anyways.. My point is, if you are working somewhere that you will retire from, an upgrade time of 4 years is kind of a short wait in the grand scheme of things.
