Great stories. Lears have to be the best performing bizjets out there. I have flown the 25, the 35, the 55 (the real pig of the family), and the one that has been left out of this thread, my favorite, the 60. The 60 has the climb performance of the 24, but is not as quick to stab you in the back. Plus great avionics.
Left St. Louis one night a couple winters ago, heading to TEB with 2 pax. Flew normal climb profile (250/.70), leveled off at 410 in 11 minutes. Doesn't have that fighter plane feel of the 20/30 series, but still a hoot to fly.
