I was just about to rip Barney the screener (Mr. Wakenhut, a.k.a. Frontier1) a new one, and when I clicked "preview post" it said that the thread was invalid. I searched the other forums, no luck.

Come on guys don't delete this stuff, it makes for good comic relief.

Hobbes

BTW, here's his admission of his true status in life. Notice it don't say nothin about being a 9000 hour 757 pilot.

:)

"As far as almost having to pull pilots from jumpseating was back when we did gate screening well over a year ago.
If you dont comply, you dont fly.
I am sure you all would love if we did away with the Screening and just had open doors for anyone to walk thru. You may still fly but I am sure the general public would not.
I had the chance to work for both private and TSA. Would you all prefer to go back to private now that most airports will have that chance pretty soon?
As far as being a LEO I am a rookie and not out at DIA anymore so I cant kick all your asses and boot you off flights for thinking GOD is below you.
By the way I do love aviation. I do agree that pay blows for a lot of you guys. When we were private screeners working for Wackenhut we made $15.56 to start which is about 31k/year. Funny that we were making more than some of the puddle jumper guys and you could get the job just walking in."

What a loser.

Too Many Stupid...A@##$%

Not a guy flying the line doesn't understand the rules regarding screening. That is not the problem (and there are many) but it doesn't mean we have to like the way we are treated.
Mr Fronntier is clearly living in his own little world. For those of us that go throught TSA screening 3 or 4 days each week at numerous cities from LA to BWI, we know how non-standard they are with there own "subjective" view or what their real job is. Unfortunately most pilot know the difference between technique/procedure and that creates a real problem for crews. Many of the individual TSA supervisors at some airports have put their own spin on what needs to be done.
The airport I commute from (CAE) it is a classic case of the Chief supervisor making like difficult for pilots (making us get boarding passes to get throught security). He informed me that gate agents would want to see my boarding pass when I reqested the jump seat. Something I have never heard of or had happend to me....I pointed out to him that once I was through security I could go to any gate and request a jumpseat form.....I also pointed out that when you request a last minute boarding pass you get a special trip to the box as a "profile passenger"....further delaying my attempts to get to a gate and work. Finally the agents at check-in counters have better things to do than list jumpseaters....their busy with paying passengers. All the logic in the world cannot make a blind man see.

I guess this is why we always had "operators" in charge in the Air Force.....too bad we can't let Herb spend a week fixing TSA!

My last word for Mr Frontier...is this...cheap shot about TSA making more than the guys at the regionals.....they wouldn't take your higher paying job for two reasons....first they love to fly....and second, they have too much self respect for their fellow crew members....something you clearly don't have or understand.....easy to see that when it comes to you being a crewmember it is sorta like caffein and 7up, never had it, never will!!

Hey frontier1, 8000 hours in one day. Man, you must travel at warp 9. I'm am sooooooooooooooooooo impressed.

Go away
