I dont understand why people are so suprised that you are "required" to have a four year degree to fly for Airnet. Look at all the unemployed pilots out there. It may not be fair but it is an easy way to weed out applicants (notice that I did not say less qualified). Besides you need a degree to fly for any major passenger or freight airline, even though somebody without a degree would do just fine. It is like that everywhere in the non-aviation world too. Without that degree you quickly hit that glass ceiling.
