Well, I asked Santa for an extra large tube of KY so when Uncle Hulie came along with his "present," it wouldn't hurt so much. Instead, Hulie came early with a letter saying we'd be fired for calling in sick, and I was without my KY; it hurt real, real bad.

When you're in a union, you work within your contract. Most pilots refuse to perform any functions outside of their contract. If at Christmas you would like Management to provide you with a bonus, write it into your next contract. If you're looking for extra-contractual "goodwill," the question is, did the pilots all organize and chip in to buy something for Management? Or does this goodwill only go one way?
How 'bout.....
Stick it in and snap it off.
