Having been an FO for 2 1/2 years, I have never once told any CA where I went to school unless they beat it out of me -
I dunno dude, you spent all that time and energy there, IMHO if someone asks you where u went, UND, Riddle, community college for retards, or whatever, you should grow a sack and tell him/her/it. If you're a tool, it doesnt matter where you went to school, it'll still say Crasftsman on your shirt.

I still live in daytona today. Razzles, Ocean Deck and the Oyster Pub are still around. How long has Razzles been around if you remember it??? That is a long time for a night club to last.

I believe it was there when I started in '87.

Nothing beats The Ocean Deck though.

Hey, who remembers Carmichaels??? Those buy 20 get 20 chickenwing coupons and $2 pitchers of beer on Tuesday nights rocked. Well it did if you had the "right" ID.

I've worked with some cool guys from Riddle, and have seen some real dorks. Most of the dorks have the maturity of a twelve year old, and some even have their own websites.........

I don't know if it was Carmichaels, but there was a new bar in Port Orange that took an ad out in the avion for 10 wings and a pitcher of beer for $1.00.

Drove the truck to school that night and loaded up with every paper I could find. Must have been around 1987.

ewww...razzles, Mr Gattis, 702 South..

....this is bad, bad memories...

What was that hard rock joint up in Ormond? rough crowd but nice high hair slutty chiks.

Captain Mark or Ward,

Remember Big Daddy's On the beach?

I do remember Carmichaels when it was on Volusia Ave.

701EV

i do remember the silver bucket..wow..but we drank some beer at Bernkastels...anyone remember the Coliseum...?

Anyone know how to get a "fresh" ERAU decal for the back of the car window? Mine faded after too much cruis'n in the sun. The only thing other drivers notice now is my hat in the back window of the Jetta. Maybe I look more seasoned (or jaded) that way. BTW, am I the only one who chokes up with pride when the national TV-news quotes the Riddle Prof regarding the latest airline economic quandary? That guy really knows his stuff!!

Go ERAU!

Well, dare I say I went to Razzles tonight. Walked in and immediately swung for the fence. I asked out one of the attractive bartenders that worked there. She said that it was lovely that I was showing an interest in her. Dinner would be great. It was a little awkward at first. I could tell she was a little nervous in my company. I did have the premium product in my hair, not that cheap crap I wear to work. She asked me a few probing questions. I told her that I had a 4 year degree, didn't smoke, never did drugs, and was really looking for a long term relationship. In truth, I could tell she was floored. She gave me her cell #, and an alternate # incase I had any trouble reaching her on her cell. So all in all it was pretty cool. Monday night is the big D A T E. More to come later......

Damn....you dudes are bringing me back. I remember wings at Carmichael's in 92 or 93.
And Lord knows I rocked the phukk outta the Coliseum for many years. Was even dating a chick who knew the barkeeps...drank for free in 95!!
Met my wife at the deck in 97! Still going strong since then...
Got sh!tfaced at Berncastles before graduation in 96!
Partied too flippin hard at the Oyster Pub as instructor at ERAU in 99!
I say ************************* those guys that knock the Riddle dudes. A lot of those guys are geeks and are bringin the rest of us down. All I know is that my crew got drunk, laid, and brawled on a weekly basis. The geeks and dorks are wreckin our cred, but the real guys recognize the real guys. Enough said.

Good luck bro. Just remember, a first date is just like an airline interview.

....

Time2Spare,

Whats wrong with drinking a bunch of water on a trip and working out? I do it. News flash, not all of us wanna be just another butterball, softy, sloppy looking, sbarro stuffing, regional "jet driver". Well just got done working out, time to go pound some water.

I don't know that one, but Carmichaels closed in 1990 or 1991 perhaps??? It's were Sonny's BBQ is now on Volusia (oh yea, Int'l Speedway  ). I use to do the same, grab about 20 issues just for the coupons.

Oh man, I can't believe I forgot about Gattis. Wow, what a bargain!
