Read the report again very carefully. The pilot stated that he was on the 235 radial of the Spartanburg VOR (SPA), when afterwards he was cleared for the ILS approach into KGSP. The wreckage, however, was found on the 235 radial of the Sugarloaf Mountain VOR (SUG). The terrain around SPA is relatively flat, however SUG has quite a few large hills around it. Apparently he was not in radar contact and his stating the wrong VOR name led the controller to believe he was somewhere that he in fact was not, so he was cleared to descend into the mountains.

That is not in dispute. The thread was about the condition of the plane and the distractions from flying that junker around.

Well no, not really. The thread was supposed to be about an airplane and it's massive quantity of three malfunctions, but you never could be steered back on topic. Therefore, unfortunately, it was all about you. And apparently still is.

Despite numerous invitations to rejoin the subject, you failed. Instead, you went back to personal insults over and over, and more recently, repeatitive invitations to have the last word...at which you also failed. Again.

So how about it? Got anything intelligent to say about that airplane with all the malfunctions...all three of them? Give it a try. You know you can. You won't let the thread die...you might as well give hitting the thread subject one college try. Can you do it?

YOu sound like a real JERK avbug. You need a change of scenery. WHy not stand up and move AWAY from the CPU, go out, have a smoke and breathe deeply. Heck, why not dig into that stash you keep in that ol' linkin of yours, roll one and CHILL!

Its not we, avbug, it is you. You are obviously in severe need of a life. I read the post where you must have spent about 2 hours quoting every post some poor sap every made just to make yourself look superior. Are you so insecure that you have to do that to make yourself look good? There is something to be said for having class. You have plenty of class, problem is sir,it is all low.
