We all want age 60 changed?

I was turned down for jobs because I was a guy, and my wife was turned down for a promotion because she was a girl.

Seems to me that your wife should have been the pilot and you should have been the business man.

Job discrimination always has and always will exist regardless of your color, sex, or social standing. You can either ride out to meet it head on and get your a*s kicked, accept the downside of slow job progression, or avoid the conflict all together by making smart career choices.

It seems to me that nobody who currently flies thought the age 60 rule was so distasteful that it affected their career choice.
 
Age 60 is bad law. Age 65 is bad law. Retirement should happen when: a) the person wants to B) the person can no longer do the job.

If age 60 is safer than age 65, then doesn't follow that age 55 is safer than 60? How about age 50?
