Word is, the company plans to lay off in seniority, as they promised, but they will do it in seniority by fleet type. I think there is some irony in the fact that some of the biggest whores for overtime out there are in the large cabin and they will probably be the ones to get laid off.

Remember pizza-man, if the company does a token layoff you will be blamed for it. And the people pointing the finger may be very senior. I think you should take a long look in the mirror on this one. And if you think everyone will not find out who is doing OT, especially after a lay off, you must be putting vodka in that Kool Aid your drinking.

It's time to get on board and start sharring the pain with your brothers and sisters. For your own good.

You just don't do OT, or ANYTHING else above the minimum required until you have a contract. I don't care what the reason is. You do OT, or help the company in anway at this time, than you are a scab!

How much time do you spend with Management?

Life on the road is hard enough without being singled out as one of the reasons a fellow pilot got laid off.

Eating ALONE , sitting at the Tiki bar in PBI ALONE, spending hours on crew rot in the FBO ALONE does not sound like a fun way to work unitl retirement.

Don't forget aviation is a small community remember how Tyler was greated when he came to Flight Opts. Eastern Airlines might have been a long time ago for him, but it is following him his whole career.

Yes, that does happen. And it is that simple during contract negotiations. There are only two parties at the table, and your fellow pilots will feel that you betrayed them when you act as though you are on the other side.

Prior to the NJ pilots' winning their new CBA we had some families qualifying for govt assistance. I'm sure there must be Options families in the same position. Any help you give the company right now is hurting those families. Frac pilots need to know that their spouses and children are living in safe neighborhoods, driving reliable transportation while they are gone. They need to be building a savings account and putting money aside for their children's education. Those basics of life are taken for granted by professionals. Frac families deserve nothing less. Any help given to the company during the contract battle will just drag it out and delay the lifestyle you all deserve.

My respect and admiration to those at Options standing up for the pilots, their families, and the industry. Futurepizzaguy please trust the many pilots of NJ who have traveled this path before you, and your fellow pilots who have just explained it quite well. They want to be compensated like the professionals they are not like the pizza guys your help forces them to be.

We all have bills to pay and I got a second job just so I don't have to work OT and it sucks.We have lots of guys who have family medical bills that are dragging them down and don't work OT, so don't play that song.

Your working OT is costing me a pay increase as well as 750 other pilots.
Every month guys work OT the company sees no need for a contract and drags it on. You see it fit to put yourself ahead of 750 other pilots and their families.

The way I see it you are helping them keep my wages down so your not any better then managemaent( it is their job to do what they do, IT IS YOUR CHOISE ) I would just like to see a list of guys who are the reasons why I am not getting my raise.

If you are proud of doing OT you should not be embarassed of everyone knowing who you are.

Some of the highest paid people still "NEED" to work overtime? This disgusts me. Some people need a reality check. We all have a hard time with the bills considering what we make this day and age. The guys on the bottom are making half the money and have pretty much the same expenses, except for the boat, cabin, lake house, sports cars, or any of the other luxuries you think you "NEED".:angryfire I know a few guys, and gals at FLOPS that are doing OT. Posting their names here might be a good idea. I need to think about it a little bit more before I do, and maybe give 'em a call first to give them a chance to stop it. I can tell you there is absolutely no reason why anyone at FLOPS should be doing OT. I would love to hear the reasons for OT, I bet I can find a solution besides working overtime.
